This Weekend at Trinity

Friday Evening: Iain Quinn To Perform Benefit Concert
For Choir School
Organist Iain Quinn, who was our Director of Music at Trinity from 1998-2005 and the founder of the original Trinity Choristers, will return on Friday, April 9, to perform a 7:30 p.m. concert to benefit The Choir School of Hartford. Mr. Quinn is now a doctoral fellow in musicology at the University of Durham, England, where he is also Director of Music at the College of St. Hild and St. Bede and director of the Durham University Chamber Choir. He continues to compose, perform and record. The April 9 concert at Trinity will include music from the Baroque period to the 21st century, with works by Bach, Frescobaldi, Reger, Rachmaninoff and others. There is a suggested donation of $20.00 for adults for this concert; all proceeds will go to benefit The Choir School. Don’t miss the chance to welcome Iain back to Trinity and enjoy an evening of music for “the king of instruments!” A reception hosted by the Choir School of Hartford will follow the concert.
